We have two stags at Streamvale… Prince Edwin and John.

All year they are best of friends and run with all the girls in a big field together.

However as soon as Autumn comes they become fierce enemies!

This is their mating season known as rutting and the two boys would fight in a fierce battle to win the girls!

As they could potentially kill each other we separate the pair into different fields. (With a few girls, to keep them company!)

They march up and down the fence staring at each other and you can hear them roar all over the farm!
