Groups have been visiting Streamvale for the past 30 years!

The interest shown by local schools to educate children in the ways of food production was one of the key factors in our decision to become an Open Farm, all those years ago!

Education is still the bedrock of our work, teaching all about our Dairy Farm and where milk comes from.

School Tours

Why not book a School Tour and allow the children in your class to learn while having fun?

Streamvale allows children to explore the countryside, farm animals, where the food they eat comes from and the importance of outdoor activity. At Streamvale, the children learn all of this and more through our experienced tour guides.

During your visit, your guide will cover producing food on farms (concentrating on dairying), with opportunities to see, touch and feed a wide range of farm animals. If you have anything in particular to study, just ask – we are very flexible!

Group Visits

We welcome group visits all throughout the year, except during our busy events.

From Family Fun Days to Community Group bookings, we are excited to welcome everyone to the farm to have fun and learn. Our group visits are self-guided, with your group having free range to explore all around the Open Farm.

Please note:

We ask all large groups to split into smaller groups upon arrival, with enough staff to supervise. Although we welcome groups, we must be mindful of our other visitor’s experience.
